Scheels launches its first Super Bowl ad

During last night’s Superbowl, Scheels launched its first television commercial with a 30-second spot airing in all of Scheel’s markets, and a 90 seconds longerpot is now displayed on its website.

The commercial follows the Doodles football team and its coach, “Coach T.”, with a message of collaboration and teamwork.

“This message of teamwork is one we live and breathe every day at Scheels, so it was important to stay true to our core company values ​​when creating our very first Super Bowl ad,” said Marcus Thornton, Chief Marketing Officer of Scheels. “As a customer-focused All Sports retailer, team collaboration is crucial to delivering a world-class experience for everyone who chooses Scheels. We couldn’t be more excited to partner with Scheels Visa and to deliver that same message to millions of homes, starting on Super Bowl Sunday.

The “Teamwork” campaign was produced by Scheels’ in-house corporate marketing team, headquartered in Fargo, ND.

Scheels operates 30 stores in 13 states, including North Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, Montana, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Nevada, Illinois, Utah, Kansas, Colorado and Texas. Currently, Steve D. Scheel, the great-grandson of Scheel’s founder, is the chairman of the company’s board of directors, and his great-great-grandson, Steve M. Scheel, is the CEO.
